Spacious rooms with mix of old and modern elements. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Good breakfast options in reception rooms. Conveniently located in the heart of the village. Warm welcome from staff, and impressive historic building.

Fabulous castle, history and custodian to go with it. Splendid rooms and furniture, if you like antiques.

Slightly sad - a lot of responsibility on one set of shoulders, and quite unsustainable.

The friendly owers and their hospitality. The authentic castle and chambre 'Le Rotonde' (The tower).

    Nothing.

Extraordinary castle experience. Stunning architecture, romantic and grammable. Great value for the size of the rooms. Friendly and welcoming host family. Nice park and natural environment. Good for outdoor activities. Nearby restaurants. Efforts put into maintaining the building.

    Everything great.

    It was quiet.

Property rather run down and needs refurbishing. The owner is struggling to keep the property running. We were the only guests there and as there is no restaurant had to go out to eat in the evening which was fine but we had envisaged a lovely restaurant in a beautiful Chateau. This was definitely not the case. We had asked for breakfast at 07.30 but were advised that it was not possible to provide this until 0800. At 07.50 next morning we were advised that this would not be forthcoming until 08.30 by which time we could not wait and left without breakfast.

This is an authentic, frozen-in-time, large castle, with all the charme that this brings with it. It's definitely not a hotel. There is no restaurant, no service personnel. You speak directly with the owner family.

The pool was not very well kept.

We had an unforgettable stay at this unique chateau with its fascinating history. The grandeur of the place was truly captivating, and we felt like we had stepped into another world. The massive rooms were beautifully decorated, and we were delighted to have delightful conversations with the owners, who were gracious and hospitable. The tranquility of the surroundings made for a peaceful and restful stay. we highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a truly extraordinary experience.

What an experience staying in a real castle! From the impressive outside to a comfortable bed, everything was great. The breakfast was excellent with homemade bread and a variety of quality ham and cheese. The staff was very gracious and helpful, especially the baron's son who spoke English. This hotel has a peaceful and quiet location next to a church, making it a great spot to stay in the area.

Nothing bad to say, the flaws of this family home give it a normal and comfortable feel.

This hotel is a hidden gem that offers a truly unique and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived at the magnificent castle, we were captivated by its grandeur and charm. The rooms, with their comfortable beds and original interior, transport you back in time and make you feel like royalty. The attention to detail in maintaining the castle is evident, and it's impressive to see an authentic piece of history in such good condition. The staff, particularly the owner and his son, were warm, friendly, and always willing to help. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious spread that left us satisfied and ready for the day. this hotel offers exceptional value for money, and we would definitely stay here again.

No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had in France, with the option to pre-order your favorite dishes. I recently stayed at this breathtaking castle for a few nights and it was truly a unique experience. The rooms on the lower floor, where breakfast is served, are in excellent condition and definitely worth exploring. The breakfast itself was delicious and the breakfast room was stunning. The personal welcome and farewell from the owner added a special touch to our stay. The spacious rooms with their authentic decor transported us back in time. The owner and his son were incredibly charming and we had some interesting conversations with them. Will definitely be returning!

    Would recommend this hotel.

I was truly impressed by my stay at this hotel. The moment I laid eyes on the majestic castle, I knew I was in for a unique and memorable experience. The location, right in front of the castle, was absolutely breathtaking. The staff went out of their way to provide excellent service, ensuring that our basic amenities were well-maintained and our rooms were clean and comfortable. The attention to detail in the original interior of the rooms was remarkable. And let's not forget about the breakfast - it was simply delicious!

All was well, nothing to improve.

The building was impressive and spacious. We loved the original fixtures mixed in with modern items. Breakfast was delicious and you can pre-order what you want. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and we had a personal farewell with the owner. Key location facts were perfect, we could park right in front of the hotel and use the outside swimming pool in the summer.

The shutters were a bit difficult to open and made the room very dark. Although the bathrooms were historic and charming, they needed a bit of repair.

The castle is a dreamy place with beautiful landscapes. It was amazing to get the chance to feel like royalty for the weekend. The water, coffee, and tea stations were a great addition for guests to enjoy. The location, which spreads over several acres, added excitement to our adventure.

Although the location was beautiful, it was clear the hotel struggled with updates. The room had old facilities and electric plugs, while the bathroom had a smelly old carpet.

Staying in this unique chateau is an experience not to be missed if you are in the area. The magnificent castle with its antique furniture and grand décor is truly impressive. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view of the river. The bathroom, although old-fashioned, was functional and provided us with everything we needed. The owner was charming and gave us a guided tour of the castle. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread and homemade jam.

The bathroom facilities are a bit dated, but still perfectly usable.
